What does it take to put on a production?
Have you ever dreamt of being on the stage, or being part of putting on a show?
Our members cover every aspect of a production – which category do you fit into?
Actors: The forefront of our shows!
As an actor you put the production into being, take the script and breathe life into characters.
Everyone is welcome onto our stage, whether you can sing or act, or if you just want to have fun.
Directors: Directing can a long and hard task, but if you have a vision we’ll happily have you share your ideas with us!
You don’t need experience, and you’ll get tons of support.
Orchestration: As we are based in a small village hall we don’t have room for a full orchestra pit, but plenty space for any keen pianist to tinkle at the ivories and help keep us in tune!
We currently are using a fab sound system to play our backing tracks, but if you play any instrument we’d love to have you.
Set: Painting/Building/Constructing – we may be a small group, but we like to impress! Our backdrops are hand-painted 13’x9′ canvases which change with every show!
If you’re handy with a paintbrush, or know your way around a saw (yes, really!) then how about helping us create something magical?
Tech: Lighting, sound effects, mic controls, projection – just a few of the technical aspects of putting on a show.
If you’re savvy with a sound desk, confident at cables or love to play with lights, then why not help us make our productions even more spectacular!
