Rock of Ages Junior Edition is a high-energy, school-friendly adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, packed with the greatest rock anthems of the 1980s. Set on the legendary Sunset Strip in 1987, this classic boy-meets-girl story follows Drew, a small-town dreamer chasing rock stardom, and Sherrie, a sweet and ambitious girl with big-city dreams of her own. When a legendary rock god arrives in town and ruthless developers threaten to demolish the iconic venue they all call home, the gang must fight to save the music — and each other.
Featuring unforgettable hits from bands like Journey, Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, and more, this condensed 60-minute production has been specially adapted for young performers, with age-appropriate content and arrangements suited to young voices. It’s everything students, parents, and teachers love: big hair, bigger dreams, and a whole lot of rock ‘n’ roll!
